BittnerRig
v2.0
BittnerRig is an automated Rig.
Just open the file guide.mb and source the two MEL-files.
Now you can put the skelleton with the cubes into the right
proportions.
After typing "br_bittnerrig" press the button "CREATE
THE RIG".
You have IK-FK-switch in arms, leg and neck. You can find
the parameters for it in the plus-shaped controlls. In the
back you can use both (FK and IK) at the same time.
BittnerRig v2.0 has squash and stretch in back, legs, arms,
neck and head. It can be stretched in some different ways:
1. scale the FK-controlls
2. in leg- and arm IK-controlls there are parameters called
"stretchable". If you put them to 10, the joints
are scaled automatically, when you move away the IK-controll.
3. scale the IK-controlls - bones scale as well (you can also
combine it with the stretchable-parameter)
The whole rig has a global scale (just select the main-square
(at the bottom of the rig, called BITTNERRIG) and scale (or
rotate or translate) it.
At the beginning you can specify, how many joints you want
for the back, and how many inbetween-twistjoints you want
for arms and legs.
With the locators close to the fingers you can specify the
orientation of the fingers.
Important: BittnerRig is still a beta-version. So, for using
in production, you should make some tests first.
Tested with Maya 6.5
